The Azores are recognized for an abundance of whales all year round, so there's a fairly good chance that you will spot one (or more) when out during a watercraft in the deep h20 beyond the island. A small zodiac is a great way to travel - stable, fast, along with close to the water, thus you will get a terrific view.
