I've gone to numerous nature and wildlife preserves and other places where beauty can be enjoyed or critters can hang out in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area (including Southwest Washington, where I live). Some places I've only been to once, but will probably return; others, like a place I dubbed Critter Lake or the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge which is down the Columia River from me, attract me because there is often something new, especially as the seasons change.
