Mount St. Helens Shoots

I've made a few trips up to the Mount St. Helens area this year, to two different places that allow you to see the mountain from about 5 miles away (from the nearest crater rim). My favorite is the Johnston Ridge Observatory and viewing center, because it is the best place to view the open crator (you can hike to even better vantage points. But I've also visited Windy Ridge and Coldwater Ridge (variety!)
