I had several errands to run around town -- I had to pick up a CMOS battery for my workstation motherboard, and I also decided to apply for a copy of my Social Security card, since it's been missing for a good 30-40 years:) and I figured it might come in handy for a job search. I also wanted to pick up some WD-40 lubricant for my bike gear mechanisms and such.

So, it was an ideal idea to pack my camera gear and take the bike as well as the bus, and look for photo ops!

As it turned out I didn't have a lot of time to wander because I had someplace to be which would cut my plans short, but I did grab some photos...

And then I lost my keys, including the one for my bike lock, and three for my apartment and related uses!

I had to backtrack on at least a mile of bike riding, looking to see if I had dropped them or whatever, ended up at the store at which I had last parked and locked/unlocked my bike, and finally went in to Customer Service and, Whoopee! Someone had turned them in!

And the adventure was over, biked to my meeting and then home...
