Where The Rivers Converge: When I left the Wildlife Area, at the end of the day, I drove to the Kelley Point Park and walked the beach to the point at which the Williamette and Columbia Rivers meet. On the left is the tip of Sauvie Island, to the right is Washington state. At this juncture, the Columbia River swings up and heads north for quite some miles before turning again heading to the ocean.
