As I headed back toward town, my day was literally made complete when the osprey flew off of its perch and parked in a tree right beside the road! I stopped the car and took these pictures from the driver's seat, hand-held, drove a few feet forward and took some more at a different angle. Fantastic! Please note, though, that I had no device to steady the camera and large lens as I was pointing it up and out the window, so forgive the softness of the images! No regrets on my part except to at least get a good bean bag...
