When my mother passed away in the Spring of '03, my daughter, my grandson and I spent time exploring the varieties of Rose Hills Cemetary in Southern California, where half of her ashes were buried (the rest we scattered). In the upper hills of the cemetary there is a Buddhist temple and graveyard where we visited and photographed. Here my grandson (now an aspiring photographer) sits in the graveyard -- you can see some of the round, tall "gravestones" where individual ashes are interred.
