Coming back to Lower Critter Lake I noted more signs of beaver activity. I then saw a couple of the Nutria napping on a log across the lake (taken without my DSLR and telephoto lens, the animals are just two lumps on the far log -- trust me!). Working my way to the end of the lake I found the beaver dam that formed this larger lake!
