After some months of not getting out on my bike to pursue my photography, I finally decided to snap out of things a bit! I had an errand to run that is something I normally can do close by with no hassle, but instead I decided to go further, and to load my EOS 5D "Classic" with the EF 24-105 into my backpack and head out!

It was a sunny day, and my first stop was to "take in" some late fall colors! Then I encountered a suburban home with an interesting pile of wood -- I couldn't tell if it was an "arranged" pile or just a bunch of firewood, but took some pics of the wood and then the Ford truck in the driveway.

From there it was a smattering of urban scenes, including the Interstate Highway running through this part of town, but it was nice to see a view of Mount Hood in the background of the sprawl of a Walmart parking lot and shopping complex!
