Photography encompasses a lot of different types of subject matter! Beautiful landscapes, pretty flowers, wildlife, all these things you can go out and shoot!

And then, there is "planned" people photography -- portraits, wedding photography, performances, and other types where you take the time to plan, position either the person or yourself, and fire away! You can take care of lighting and exposure and composition to get the best "stuff", you pack flash when necessary, plan ahead!

But, the field of candid people photography is another challenge -- your "subjects" are found randomly as you are out and about, often on urban streets, but just about anywhere, not planned, not posed and the important thing is that you are capturing a moment of life that you can't plan out, it's not in a studio, the people may or may not be aware of the fact that they are being photographed and in fact act as if they are not even aware of your existance or, if they are, may even look a bit irritated!

So, here is where I'm posting these types of photos, some quick grabs that aren't part of a particular collection, but most are from some great times out "in the streets", either alone or with some group of family or fellow photographers, and so are copied from a previous collection but fit here!
