This western barn owl is spreading the wings wide and lifting them high dramatically to increase its physical size, making it look much larger and more dangerous to an attacker. Maybe it sees your camera and the long lens mounted on it. However, it's a beautiful shot for us to enjoy. Thank you, Ton. ~VVVVV+++~
