This photo as well as the following (Chase 2) were taken while Chase made an incredible effort as shortstop. He had fielded a hot grounder deep in the position, and lunged forward selflessly to make the tag on a runner going from second to third. The effort was unsuccessful, and as you'll see in the next photo quite a face plant for Chase.
