God, that's beautiful ... and what memories it brings back. I used to live next to the Flowered Fields in Carlsbad. That was years ago, long before Lego Land (I now live on the East Coast and haven't even been to California in 12 years). I think there was only two airplanes at all of Palomar Airport, and very little development anywhere else. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton at the time, and my wife and I used to walk among the Ranunculas there. It saddens me to think where we're headed, but this has brightened my day. Thanks for that picture.
