Great shots! As an avid bird watcher, I have seen over 200 species here. deffinitetively one of the south lands premier bird watching sites!

I saw a lone Swan in the estuary Sunday, December 7. I have walked there for 3 years, never saw a Swan before. I would like to know how often Swans have been seen in the Wetlands.

My wife and I lived in Huntington Beach over 15 years ago and use to visit the Bolsa Chica Wetlands much to see all the great birds flying through. The Spring and Fall were really great, because of all the migrating duck species coming through.

I plan to take my 9-year-old son there this weekend to take a hike and see some ducks.

Is that all of the new wood work I heard they were doing? 7 years ago I lived near Warner and PCH. I really miss that area, (though Irvine is still kind of close). Great gallery!

Oh wow, this really is a kind of wonderland, I'm jealous :)
I do have to travel much more to add some birds into my "for the birds" gallery :)
