This is a scan of DC's "Famous 1st Edition Limited Collectors' Golden Mint Series" published in 1974. It's about the size of an old Life magazine.

8/24/14 – One of the finest copies available (CGC 9.0 - Perfect White Pages) just sold for $3,207,852.00 on ebay.

Superman's first appearance was in "Action Comics" No. 1, published in 1938. A copy of that comic graded 8.5 was most recently sold in April 2024 by Heritage Auctions for a then-record $6 million.
