The Gradierbau (Gradierwerk) is the longest salt drying structure in Germany, featuring two walls made of brushwood bundles,
each approx. 333 meters long, located in the town's Spapark. The process, known as "gradieren," involves brine dripping
over the walls to increase salt concentration, creating an atmosphere described as refreshing as a stroll on the beach
like a (Palatinate sea breeze).
