St. Valentine's Church and Sabiona Monastery

Villandro, Italy

seen on the way down from our vacation stay in South Tyrol.

The church St. Valentine dates back to 1303 and the nave as well as the bell tower are built in Romanesque style.

Sabiona Monastery or Säben Abbey was a Benedictine nunnery located near Chiusa in South Tyrol, northern Italy.
It was established in 1687, however, the last nuns left the abbey in 2021.
