Fridolin is Back

Erzenhausen, Germany

The world over here has changed dramatically but as in the past six Years, this stork returned to his nest after spending the Winter in Africa.
His partner Frieda has joined him. In 2021 I was lucky to see the couple raising four young ones.

How wonderful to have those wonderful visitors each year after their travels.
Don04-Mar-2022 04:35
I hope they can continue to nest there each year, they or the next generation, which might be more than can be said for some human generations at the moment.

It is reassuring that certain things remain constant, and give continuity to this fractured world. V

the nest looks deluxe, with Frieda already settled in, perhaps warming a clutch...that's a quality shot too, articulating Fridolin so clearly..
