(or Hall for short) is a University town with a picturesque medieval center, located along the Kocher River
in Southern Germany, a stop on the popular Castle Road.
"Hall" is referring to a fountain of salt; salt production was key to the early history of the town.
The town has a partially preserved town wall, many towers, roofed wooded bridges,
a huge number of stairs (I climbed most of them) and many half-timbered houses.
The bridge in the image is the "Hangman's Bridge".
