The "Alemanian Fashing" is an old traditional way
to scare away the ghosts of Winter. Most costumes have bells attached.
Wolf and bear motives are all over the town. On Tuesday evening there are many events,
in the center of Constance, where people say good bye to the Carnival with fires.
After dark at the lake, a court is held with hang men to kill the
sea ghost "Kunibert". We watched it from across the lake. A weird and scary affair.
