This is in terrific condition. What a lovely old car. It brings back memories of when I was younger and we used to play "punchbuggy" all the time (any excuse is a good excuse to clobber your siblings, right?). Now, with my daughter, we play "thump." She could not reach us in the front of the Golf to thump us when she saw a new beetle, so she yelled thump! And it stuck.
Awesome! My grandmother had one from right around then, a gold one. I used to ride in the pocket in the back above the engine :o) Great memories. Hope you find a truly doting owner for it!

oh wow, it's in mint conditions... don't sell it, you'll regret it
I bought the 1963VW with the sunroof as soon as they arrived in New York. I loved that little car except when I had to go up steep hils and other drivers were honking their horns at me to go faster.
Yours is in beautiful condition.
