Füssen

Füssen im Allgäu, is a town in Bavaria, at the Austrian border, known for the High Castle and Basilica and former Benedictine monastery of St Mang.
It is located on the banks of the Lech River, which flows into the Forggensee and is familiar to travellers as the southern terminus of the Romantic Road.
There is much to see in Füssen and the surrounding area, the world famous castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwanstein, beautiful mountain lakes, and a quaint old part of the 700 old part the city.
