Burg Lichtenberg

It is one of the largest (in diameter) Castle Ruins in Germany.
Burg Lichtenberg is about 15 Miles away from where we live. It was never captured during the many wars since built,
but was burned down about 200 years ago. The Castle was constructed in 1200 by the Counts of Veldenz.
Some areas are now used as a Museum, Restaurant, and Hostel. It is also used as a County Marriage Office.
The romantic surroundings are an ideal background for Photo Shoots, and some fine dining too.
