Famous hotel ...

Vietnam

The CONTINENTAL PALACE HOTEL in the right background was home to most of the famous war correspondent's of the time. The open air ground level patio bar and restaurant served some of the best drinks and meals in town and was frequented by some extraordinarily interesting people. The Continental Palace is still in operation today; however, the open air patio area is now enclosed in glass and is air-conditioned.

I had many a French bottled Coca Cola there 68 to 70, I wasn't a drinker. Psyops July 68 to Feb 70. I lived not far from here on Pham Nu Lao. I loved Saigon and still miss those times to this day. I was sad the last time I flew out of Than Son Nyut
