Having had dysentery during my tour in Vietnam, I'd probably err on the side of caution. I'm sure conditions are much cleaner and safer now. Thanks.

41 years have passed, but you still can find this image in Vietnam today. Little has changed for the poor.

I bought some food like this from a local lady near a river on the DMZ. We weren't used to it and were all sick for at least a week.
