The trip was broken up by 4-hour stops in Honolulu, Yokohama, and Okinawa. Other than that, nothing but ocean. I recall that we ran out of fresh water about 4-days away from Vietnam and you could shower with salt water (not recommended) or not bathe at all. Most elected to do the latter and I'm certain we weren't able to sneak up on anyone.
