... just got the Tamron 16-300mm lens and this is my first test shot ... clearly I have a lot of room to improve

The shot may be perfectly focused and you might be fuzzy. Just a thought. How do you like the lens since then?

Have fun with your new lens. Combining decorations of the season with a SP is a great test shot!

Ha. I think you look great this way. Just kidding, Tom. I've been thinking about getting a Tamron, too. It looks steadier than I could do at 1/10th second.
