This venerable town water well and a pair of long dilapidated concrete sidewalks are all the remain of the community of St. Boswells. It sits watching as the CP crews efficiently lift the rails that have been in place for over a century. This pump will have seen the first settlers arriving by train, decades of steam engines, livetsock shipping the heyday and the end of passenger service, wayfrieghts, GP9's pulling grain boxcars, hopper cars, and stands witness as a GP20C-ECO 2318 leads the last train to ever run on the line.
