This is the smallest of all damselflies. Only about 20mm long and very slim, abdomen abour 1mm thick. So it is tiny and fragile.
It flies about 20 cm over the ground in grass, so it's very hard to photograph.

This is one of the most endagered species in Europe, extinct i most of Western Europe. We only have one small peat bog in the country where it still can be seen.
