Nehalennia specosa
Pygmy Damselfly
Dværgvandnymfe

This is the smallest of all damselflies. Only about 20mm long and very, very slim. So it is tiny and fragile.
It flies about 20 cm over the ground in grass, so it's very hard to photograph.

This is one of the most endagered species in Europe, extinct i most of Western Europe and extremely rare in other parts. We only have one small peat bog in the country where it still can be seen.

Same here in Fin: it´s freaking rare, I mean really freaking rare... There´s only one known place: location non-public... (I know were it is, haven´t been there)... I have seen it once: a female, my camera was in the car...
