July 22nd - Handyman

I consider myself a bit of a handyman.
I can swing a hammer, turn a wrench, dig a hole.
When it comes to an odd job around the house I can usually handle it.
(If Cathi can get me motivated!)
So when we started having problems with a stopped up sink, I got right on it.

I let it go for a week until today.

I decided that I'd used drain cleaner too often on this sink of late,
so I got out some tools and cleaned the stored items out from under the cabinet.
I pulled apart the trap, nothing there...
I couldn't get the clean-out plug open, it was rusted shut.
So I ran the rooter snake down in from where the trap mounts.
Very little came out, but enough to make me think it might work now.
Ater putting it all back togetheragain, it still didn't work.
I repeated the process, still nothing.

I guess it's time for the drain cleaner again.
Perhaps I'm not such a handyman after all!

Stan's Discount Plumbing. That's all I have to say.
Plus, nice lighting.

Nice DoF effect.
I had the pleasure of a similar job a few weeks back!

Anyone that has their own snake is a real handyman. Motivation is an issue also.
Try a drain cleaner that has hydrochloric acid in it. More expensive but get the job done completely the first time.
