I helped a friend with his Christmas decorations yesterday. We installled hooks on the eaves of his house and followed that with Christmas tree lights.
He invited me in afterwards to sit for a spell and I began playing with the cat.
I should have known better, I'm allergic to cats. But I did it anyway, hard not to. If I'm around cats, I'll usually wash my hands afterwards.
Yesterday, I forgot.
When I got home, I went about my day and then it happened. I rubbed my eye. Within minutes it was swollen watery and itchy.
I tried to deal with it for a while then finally took some allergy medicine. I took a short nap hoping to fight off the effects of the medicine.
Cathi and I then went to her company Christmas party, but I was still too drowsy to have any fun.

All night last night and well into this day I've been zombie-like from that damned medicine... but my eye is better!
On a different note, I'm on the five day countdown to a two week vacation for the holidays...
