It's been a long-standing holiday tradition in my family that we give each other boxes of these chocolate covered cherries.
It started with my dad and mom many years ago and has been carried on by myself and my sisters.
There's always a box or two (or many more) to open before anything else on Christmas day. I'm usually a giver,
not a receiver, of these sugary overkills. This year I wasn't so lucky. A whole box of twenty-four just for me.
Just one of these is enough to last me the whole season. Taking a bite for this picture almost did me in!

Maybe someone at work will eat these things...
