October 1st - Still Not Richard Avedon...

...but it'll have to do. He passed away today.

**NOTE: I went to dinner with Cathi and all through the night I thought about today's shot, I couldn't get it out of my head.
I wasn't happy with the results, so when we got home I set up and retook the picture. I'm much happier with this. Here's the first one**

I wanted to revisit the SP PAD I did last friday. So here it is.

My hand has been wrapped up like this since my surgery on tuesday. It's driving me nuts! I can't wait to get this thing off.
You'd be surprised at how many things you use both hands to do. Like button your pants, shampoo and dry your hair, tie
your shoes, take a leak, drive the car, open the milk or... wash your hands.
Oh, how I long to wash my hands properly, with BOTH hands!!!

Well, just a few more days to go. Tuesday I go back to the doctor to get this thing off...

sorry about the sugery... I like this best too..... pretty obvious how happy you're feeling, I dare say it looks like you're sending the world a "gesture" in this shot :-)

Even if the pose is allmost the same on all pictures, one thing is the same for sure and that's how happy you look on all of them. But, this will pass and the smile will come back. Life is a bitch, but some one has to live it (dixit Garfield.)

You do look fed up! It can't be much fun being incapacitated, roll on Tuesday.

The other was good, but I like this one better, too.
I imagine your week has been pretty surreal and the surgery didn't help. I'm still sending good thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
