Meet Summer. She came to us unplanned as we were certainly not ready for another border collie, or any dog for that matter. But her joyfullness, eagerness to please and incredible smarts stole our hearts and we couldn't say no. She is almost a year old, and we're looking forward to many fun adventures like we had with Molls, and many more pictures too!

Aug. 4, 2015 - We've had Summer two years now and she pretty much runs the place. Lots of walks, lots of beach time and lots of games of tug. She is definitely growing up. Still not too sure about some people (who is?) so we have to watch a bit as she likes to let them know her feelings. A month ago she entered her first agility competition and did awesome, completing a course rated for 20 seconds in 12 seconds with no faults. She turned three on July 19 and got to gulp down a Maui steak. :)

Sept. 7, 2016 - Just came back from Summer's first real camping trip (car camping doesn't count), and she was a star. Lots of hikes and swims, and she slept great in the tent. She turned four in July - hard to believe - and celebrated with another steak!
