Wildflowers

While out in woodland trails looking for birds, butterflies, and dragonflies, I've started noticing interesting flowers and plants. It's especially nice finding these little treasures on rainy days, when the other things I like aren't out. At least this way I still have something to go out for on lousy days. If anyone wants to help identify these pictures that I can't, please do.

I am trying to identify a plant that seems to have 2 separate chutes- one has a single large green leaf (that possibly looks like a false lily in the valley) and the other chute has orange-red berries on them. I would like to know if you have an email address I can send a picture of to you. I cant seem to find this plant on any website.

I noticed you have a fringed gentian shot, I've been looking for that flower for quite a while. Would you care to exchange some information? I could point you to a showy orchis and some grass pinks. I live in Southern NH.

a lovely selection here Tom. It is fascinating to see your wild flowers and compare them with our British ones, quite a few in common or closely related, others i recognise from the garden.

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing them. A couple of i.d.'s : The picture labeled "Indian Pipes" is One-flowered Cancerroot. And Rose Pogonia is the name of the orchid.

Great pictures in all of the categories. As for the wildflowers: Lowest left looks to be "False Solomon's Seal" Smilacina racemosa. Next to it, looks to be "Indian Pipes" Monotropa uniflora. CRW_9030_RJ.JPG is "Bunchberry" Cornus canadensis, and next to it appears to be "Painted Trillium" Trillium undulatum.
