I am not sure whether I have commented on this before, but I think this matches A. canadensis better. The valve is not bulbous like freyella and the adult has the shorter white medial basal streak, blocked by a medial roundish orange spot. In freyella this streak would extend almost to one half of the wing. This is based on the original descriptions. BOLD defines canadensis very well, but freyella is not well represented and I think the specimens they do have are mostly wrongly id'd. There seems to be a lot of confusion between the two and they have not been well characterized in the literature. I will add A. canadensis to the MA list based on this specimen.
