On 6/11/06 I was part of a Bioblitz day in Athol, Ma. My part was to find as many insects and spiders as I could, and come up with a list of total species seen. Well, I photographed most of the ones I saw, and am now finding names for them. I was in the field from 9:15 am to 6:00 pm with a 2 hour brake in the afternoon for a get-together of the participants, and a keynote address from Elizabeth Farnsworth. I ended up taking 410 pictures by the time I was done. I think there'll be about 200 species, a few of them I couildn't photograph, but I recognized.
Sue Cloutier forwarded the link to your photos. It looks like your biodiversity exploration was a success! Thanks for participating and keep up the great work.
