3-11 August 2007: Walked the famous Overland Trail in Tasmania from Cradle Mountain to Cynthia Bay in 8 days. The conditions were very different from 2005 when I did the same trail in summer under clear blue skies. This time I encountered the extremes like white-out conditions, high winds and overflowing streams (worst flood in 50 years!). Photo opportunities were thus limited but it was one of the most enjoyable winter adventure.
