Australian War Memorial (5)

I was very moved by rows of these bronze panels bearing the names of Australian soldiders killed in battle. These panels form the Roll of Honour and it records the names of over 102,000 Australians who have died in wars since the late nineteenth century

As a retired military officer I find this photo of your 'wall' very touching and moving. I assume the flowers are added by people who look for a certain name (?) ... in any event, I'm sorry I missed this on my last trip to your great country. Voted

Very powerful image. The red flowers on the metal panel and the perspective makes it to a picture that you can't stop looking.
