BiBi had to cope with the 46 degree heat wave that struck
Melbourne today.
His bunny air-con was switched on full blast from 8am
till 7pm, when the welcoming cool change finally arrived
in Melbourne. Before that, I had 6 ice packs stacked
inside his hutch with wet towels on the windward sides
of his hutch. Managed to keep the hutch temperature
below 25 degrees, the highest temperature safe for
bunnies... He's now wanting to start playing games
and run around the house.

" Woohoo! The heat wave is over! Tom saved three
toilet rolls for me to play with. Soooo happy!
Can I come down the sofa and start running now?
Please ???? Actually, some cool baby bok choy would be
nice too! And... ice carrot juice! Make that a double! "

Oh! Poor BiBi! He's sure lucky to have such a thoughtful and attentive owner!! He still looks pretty happy and cute!

wow I had no idea bunnies were so sensitive to heat - keeping him below 25C in that heatwave must've been quite a challenge...
