I'm mildy pleased with this effort at street photography experimenting with hyperfocal techniques. I was ready with the exposure and used the AF/MF button to reduce shutter lag. Just raised the camera, shot, and continued on my way.

This was the candid posture that I wanted. I'm also pleased that the shadow detail in their dark outfits is visible in the original photo.

What limits my pleasure is that my understanding of hyperfocal is still faulty. I thought everything behind them would be in focus and it's not. OTOH the OOF background makes the couple stand out better. So I'm pleased with the photo, and displeased with my understanding of hyperfocal.
