This gallery is a bit of a change for me, and an experiment. To date, most of my photography has been nature- or event-oriented. This gallery will hold the results of my attempt to capture more street scenes and city life with a small, walking-around camera. The starting camera is a Canon S110 Digital ELPH, but that may change on a whim. (ed. Some taken with Canon SD100 and the latest ones are taken with a Canon SD1000. (Later) Additional cameras include Canon S50, Canon SD300, Olympus C5050 and some early Nikon CoolPix models. Added a Canon G5 on June 21. August 7th - added Canon G9. Added G10 in November. At the outset, at least, I will be shooting B&W in the camera (as opposed to converting it from color). I think this will simplify composition for me and also eliminate a lot of post-processing that might discourage spontaneity.
