This was on the day after the 100th anniversary of the declaration of war on Germany.
Local people were in invited to participate in the parade which included the Royal Signals (Northern) Band.
The parade ended in the park where there were various military vehicles on display including a WW1 tank.
A service of reflection was also held there led by the Rector of St Andrews church
