Up to now I have seen three kinds of geckos in the Masoala hall. Most common are the green Day geckos, which I have found on every visit.
A rare sight is the flat tailed gecko (Uroplatus gen.). Well, it might be very common, but it is really hard to find as long as it does not move. And I still wait to see one moving ...
A third, spotted kind (Tokay gecko?) usually stays high up in the trees, very difficult to get a picture of them. Well, I know now on which trees to look out for them ...
