Nice to see these images, brings back good memories. I've done the same thing in Schaffen 13 years ago. Had a very good time there. Makes me want to do jumping again...

Hi Tinne I joined the British Parachute Regiment and did my first jump from one of these baloons in 1972 in Abbingdon UK. I haven't got any photos of that time and would like to get some. Is Schaffen in Belgium? Do the Belgium Paras still use the baloon. Thanks for the scary but nice memories Dougie Young
