I managed haul my carcass up the to the top of Meikle Pap. The apparent scene of a fine spring day is very misleading. It was blowing an absolute hoolie. I could barely stand at times and poked my head above the shelter of some rocks to take pictures on a very fast shutter speed. The original plan wasn't to go to the top but to get a pic from this vantage point which I have never previously taken. I am glad that was the plan as everyone seemed to turn back deciding the ridge was just too windy to be safe.
