On final approach!

A revisit to the Isle of May, after my previous weeks disappointment in the quality of my pics. Having previous stuck x2 converter onto my 70-200 the results were mostly awful. On my revisit a change in fortune as Tony McGarva lent me his 100-400 - Many thanks. What a difference a good piece of glass makes, that will teach me to be a cheapskate. But the greatest joy of the day was that my wife joined me and also took some great pics - a first.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II
1/5000s f/8.0 at 400.0mm iso800 full exif

a touch of helter-skelter here on the part of your subject...superior engaging shot though...looks as if that lens made a big difference...it's down the shop then mate...V

Nobody who owns a Canon EOS 5D Mark II could ever be described as a cheapskate!
The other lens certainly made a difference though! ~V~

Excellent shot. There's something comical rather than graceful about puffins in flight. V
