A day off work for good behaviour, it was my birthday, so for the second year off to the Mountain Bike World Cup at Fort William for some action. Another amazing day, though I struggle to understand quite why the riders risk life and limb so readily. I can only assume it is to provide photographers with some action shots! My lad and I travelled up the hill in cable car in the company of a couple of professional photographers who do the ‘circuit’. When I commented that it must be a very competitive business – his reply was that ‘since digital any monkey can pick up a camera’. So here is this ‘monkeys’ offerings.
