Kaamulan Festival 2004

Kaamulan Festival 2004, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. It rained during the whole duration of the street dancing. So I had to cover the 300D's body with a shirt, and expose only the supposedly weather-sealed L lenses to the rain, with hood of course.

Hi guys! It's nice to see pictures of kaamulan festival.. so colorful! But i have a question, where can I get or borrow (better!) costumes like that? I haven't been to bukidnon yet. We'll have a Christmas party presentation (Theme is Philippine festivals).
Hope somebody could help me... Thanks!

it started when i was just an elementary pupil and i remembered going down kaamulan site to interview the natives..i was 9 yrs old then..KAAMULAN festival has gone a long way.every year, people from diff places would come to see the festival.pls keep posting the real native dancers..they are the stars of this festival !...it has become popular bcoz of them ...we owe it to them...thanks to former mayor edilberto mamawag who thought of featuring them , yr 1974 !

i really did enjoy street dancing, all the sweats, the efforts, under the hot sun practice where i can feel d origins rythmic dancing feeling. I am lost when d drums started its rise and fall beating.the wonderful exitement during the presentation where i first experience urinal incantetence on the process every kaamulam when our LGU is an entry and amazed of so much energy I posess upon performing the 2 kilometers of continous dancing exhibition. Kapoy,pero lingaw.. ky malingaw sad ka ug tan-aw sa mga expectators nga mo a viva sa imoha nga nag dance.

Awesome pictures…I did introduce the site to my hubby and he really likes it, wishing he can witness soon, and me? I cannot wait to watch the 2007 Kaamulan .am so proud nga taga Bukidnon ko.padayun and mabuhay Bukidnon.

wonderful...excellent!!!i love the pics!i was just looking on for some things that i could show to my boyfriend.i miss the event(kaamulan)and we plan on going there next year.im taking my boyfriend there...just proud being from malaybalay!my 3 days visit last june wasnt just enough!

do ur comment is dated 2005 pa karon lang gud ko naka-kita. regarding ur query of a group for this purpose we have now the ALAB ( Association of Local Artists of Bukidnon )whos into preservation, protection , restoration and promotion of our culture and arts wherein i am the founder and present prex. we are into visual arts exhibit and my forth-coming exhibit is " Salobsob " re: history of malaybalay prior to the coming of the spaniards.nasa lang ko. more power!
